This novelty has to do with companies' digital transformation and their need to protect their data and operations. That is why it is estimated that they will continue to invest in cybersecurity next year.
Furthermore, if we analyze the data from Spanish companies separately, we also have encouraging figures. We see that more than 6 out of 10 companies in our country in transport and logistics already follow a cybersecurity strategy. Specifically, 62% compared to 57% of companies in the industrial field.
We are also the country that best responds to a cyber attack. 25% of companies take 8 hours to discover and protect themselves, to eliminate them. At the same time, 17% take more than 8 hours to return to normal.
24% of companies have been affected by some virus, 12% have suffered ransomware, 8% denial of service attack, and, finally, 4% have suffered the theft of a computer with sensitive data.
These attacks are increasing. That is why more and more organizations decide to invest in cybersecurity, especially in logistics and transportation. And as we increasingly walk towards digital transformation, the need to protect against cybercriminals increases.
